Hi Everybody!

Hope you all had a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. I sure did.

For me, Christmas is no longer about the presents and the excitement – it is about the lovely time I get to spend with my family. Especially since I have come to a point, where I dont need anything. and if I do find myself needing something in particular I will simply go buy it myself. Therefore, I never get surprised when I receive my presents and I never expect to receive anything which I actully both need and like.

Hoever, this year my family had made a discovery which I had not even considered myself. Our old white porcelain dinnerware is about a hundred years old (not actually, more like 25), so they thought it was about time to mix things up. So for this Christmas my family had bought me the most beautiful white dinner plates. It is funny how you dont even notice how bad the old ones look until you get new ones. This new white porcelain dinnerware has fluted edges and is hand crafted, which you can tell. It is the perfect start of a collection which will actually stay beautiful forever.

So now I am very much looking forward to next Cristmas when I can actually decorate the table with my new white dinner plates – yey!
